Wasp Watch – June 2015

June was a typical month for UK weather, ie. unsettled. Wet and windy, dry and cool, depending on your location and what day of the week it was.

Not brilliant weather for wasps but not catastrophic either.

They are not likely to bother humans at this time of year unless actively encountered, they are focused on foraging for food and building materials as the colony grows and as the nest structure needs to be made larger.
